Tasks :
• Responsible for all software-related tasks, working in accordance with applicable quality procedures.
• Ensures work is carried out following the most efficient principles in terms of cost, quality, and planning.
• Develops, tests, installs, and maintains software solutions, and prepares software validation documentation.
• Internal and external point of contact for software-related questions regarding the projects.
Required Qualifications & Skills :
Education: minimum Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Software Engineering, or equivalent through relevant experience.
Technical knowledge of:
• TIA Portal
• Programming languages: SCL, STL, and LAD
• SQL
• Experience with Schneider Drives is a plus
• Knowledge of .NET is a plus
Experience: 10+ years of experience in industrial automation and software development.
Languages: fluent English is required; Dutch is a plus.
Location: willing to work from the office 3 days per week in Halle or Wommelgem, and living within a reasonable commuting distance (approximately 45 minutes from either location).
