Role
Syensqo is hiring a SAP QM Expert to join our Global Capability Center in Pune. In this role, you will be the primary support for SAP Quality Management (QM) , ensuring stable operations and continuous improvement for quality processes across our manufacturing landscape. You will also provide secondary support for SAP Production Planning (PP) during peak periods or when the primary PP support is unavailable.
Responsibilities
Own end-to-end SAP QM functional support (incidents, problems, changes, enhancements).
Partner with Quality and Manufacturing teams to improve processes (inspections, quality notifications, CoA, batch-related quality flows, etc.).
Create functional documentation (specs/user stories), support testing (UAT/regression), and deliver user guidance/training.
Coordinate with technical teams and external partners for fixes and enhancements.
Provide backup support for SAP PP as needed and support QM–PP end-to-end process continuity.

Strong hands-on SAP QM and PP experience in a support and/or implementation environment.
Deep SAP QM functional expertise, including Inspection, Certificate of Analysis (CoA), Batch Management, and Batch Search Strategy.
Strong understanding of manufacturing and quality processes and how they translate into SAP (end-to-end business process knowledge).
Cross-functional integration knowledge across Production, Purchasing, Inventory, and Logistics (QM touchpoints with other modules/processes).
Troubleshooting and support capability: maintaining and enhancing SAP QM applications and resolving incidents effectively.
IT service management / support operations knowledge, including ticketing, prioritization, and change management; ability to supervise/coordinate ticket handling with external support providers.
Integration exposure with SAP PP and connected systems such as LIMS/MES (e.g., LabWare, SAP MII/MES) and reporting tools (e.g., Qlik Sense, PowerBI).
Ability to support and validate interfaces with related systems (SAP, MES/MII, LIMS, reporting platforms).
Development collaboration skills: familiarity with ABAP, scripting, and writing functional specification documents.
Strong communication skills in English and ability to work with global stakeholders.
Able to work autonomously, strong team player, and able to promote and enforce corporate standards, policies, and procedures.
Capability to specify and validate developments, particularly for SAP and LabWare enhancements.
Main missions Serve as the main point of contact for SAP QM support and functional expertise.
Handle incident, problem, and change requests in SAP QM, ensuring timely resolution and high service quality.
