Product Owner Data

Cybersecurity Data Lake Project carried out in collaboration with the Saint-Gobain Data Team.
We are looking for a second Product Owner (PO) to reinforce an existing PO already working on this project. We are seeking a candidate with both strong technical and functional expertise. The project is based on the Snowflake / Power BI data platform, and native or bilingual-level English proficiency is required.
Key Responsibilities
The Product Owner will be responsible for:
- Gathering and documenting business requirements
- Defining project roadmaps and timelines
- Defining and analyzing KPIs with business stakeholders
- Performing technical analysis and optimizing KPI calculations
- Identifying and analyzing data sources required to build KPIs
- Data modeling in Power BI and Snowflake
- Defining access management and data governance rules
- Monitoring and reviewing data source scheduling and orchestration
- Defining data historization and retention rules
- Ensuring data quality and platform performance
- Managing and prioritizing the backlog in Jira
- Facilitating and following Agile ceremonies
- Performing unit testing in Snowflake
- Conducting end-to-end testing in Power BI
- Producing functional and user documentation
- Ensuring technical documentation is maintained and up to date
- Monitoring source systems, alerting mechanisms, and data quality indicators
- Providing communication, training, and user support
- Supporting and monitoring run activities and operational maintenance
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong experience delivering Data & Business Intelligence projects
- Broad understanding of Digital and IT concepts (security, APIs, networking, protocols, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of Scrum methodology and its implementation in Jira
- Hands-on experience with the following technologies:
- Azure Data Factory
- Snowflake
- Power BI
- Good SQL skills for data analysis and troubleshooting
- Languages: French and English are mandatory
