Project Summary
Our web team runs a large portfolio of brand websites worldwide and needs a centralized, historized data platform to cross our digital performance data (SEO, LLM visibility, content, server logs, web analytics, go-live dates). The data already exists; what is missing is a shared place to store and query it together. This is a short, delivery-focused assignment: define the target architecture within our data framework, get it approved by our central data team, and build it hands-on alongside the business owner of the need.
Main Responsibilities
- Analyse the need with the business manager and assess the data sources (Ahrefs, AthenaHQ, Screaming Frog, PageSpeed Insights, GA4, server logs)
- Define, document and defend the target architecture and data model; obtain central data team approval
- Size the delivery team (number and profiles) and share a staffing plan within the first 3 to 4 weeks
- Build hands-on and lead a small team across ingestion, historized model, transformations and data access
- Apply engineering standards: data quality, testing (SIT/UAT), documentation, Git, CI/CD
- Hand over an operational platform with a clear run model (ownership, support, monitoring, maintenance)
Mandatory Experience:
- 7+ years in data engineering
- At least one data platform or data mart designed and built end to end
- Defending an architecture within a central data governance framework
- Estimating workload, defining profiles and leading a small delivery team
Preferred Experience:
- Large corporate experience, ideally in consumer healthcare, CPG or pharma
- AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot)
