Enterprise Architecture & LeanIX Specialist
Hybride
Company seeks a medior-to-senior professional to support and strengthen its corporate enterprise architecture practice, with specific expertise in SAP LeanIX. The role combines architecture repository management, application portfolio analysis, stakeholder engagement and practical support for architecture governance.
Role focus:This is an enterprise architecture enablement role with strong hands-on LeanIX responsibilities. The successful candidate must turn reliable architecture data into actionable insights—not simply administer a tool.
The role establishes a trusted, shared view of the enterprise application and technology landscape. It supports corporate and local stakeholders in understanding business capabilities, application dependencies, lifecycle risks and transformation opportunities, using LeanIX as a core architecture information platform.
• Support the enterprise architecture operating model, standards, methods and governance processes.
• Maintain and improve the LeanIX repository, data model, reporting and data stewardship practices.
• Enable consistent application portfolio management across business units and countries.
• Provide architecture insights for rationalization, modernization, integration and investment decisions.
• Connect corporate architecture objectives with local ownership, delivery realities and business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
LeanIX platform ownership - Configure and maintain Fact Sheets, relationships, lifecycle information, classifications, access arrangements and reporting within the agreed platform governance.
Repository quality - Define required attributes, ownership rules and quality checks; coordinate data collection, validation and remediation with accountable stakeholders.
Application portfolio management - Assess application lifecycle, business fit, technical fit, duplication and dependencies; support rationalization and modernization recommendations.
Capability and landscape mapping - Maintain business capability mappings, application landscapes and relevant interfaces or dependencies to support impact analysis.
Architecture governance - Prepare evidence and insights for architecture reviews; track decisions, exceptions and follow-up actions in the agreed governance process.
Reporting and roadmaps - Produce stakeholder-specific dashboards, landscape views and lifecycle or transformation roadmaps based on validated information.
Integration and automation - Support interfaces with relevant enterprise sources, such as ITSM, CMDB, identity or project portfolio systems, where available and approved.
Stakeholder enablement - Train contributors and consumers, facilitate workshops, document guidance and promote consistent use of LeanIX.
Continuous improvement - Identify improvements to the architecture practice and platform; prioritize changes with the enterprise architecture lead.
Accountability boundaries:Application and business owners remain accountable for their source information and decisions. This role coordinates architecture data stewardship, challenges inconsistencies and enables decision-making; architecture approval authority follows the established governance model.
Required Experience and Knowledge
• Typically 4–8+ years of relevant experience in enterprise architecture, application portfolio management, IT architecture governance or a closely related discipline; demonstrated capability takes precedence over years alone.
• Proven hands-on experience with SAP LeanIX in an enterprise environment, including repository configuration, data maintenance, reporting and stakeholder adoption.
• Working knowledge of enterprise architecture concepts, including business capabilities, application and technology landscapes, dependencies, lifecycle management and target-state roadmaps.
• Experience coordinating architecture information across multiple teams, business units or countries.
• Ability to analyze incomplete or inconsistent data, document assumptions and produce clear, defensible recommendations.
• Experience facilitating workshops and communicating architecture insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
