Amundi Technology is the Amundi entity responsible for the design, development, commercialisation, and maintenance of technology solutions for the savings and asset management industry. With 900 employees based between Paris and Dublin, Amundi Technology handles cloud and infrastructure platforms at international scale.
As part of its technology development programme, Amundi is working in close partnership with its client SBIFM in India to deploy the Alto investment platform on the Amundi Group Azure tenant, in tight collaboration with the Amundi Technology teams in Paris.
In the context of this programme, Amundi Technology requires external support to reinforce locally in India its cloud and infrastructure operations team, which currently operates from Paris. The engagement will cover the deployment of the Alto application on the Azure India environment (primarily AKS and PostgreSQL), third parties component (MFund+), as well as Infrastructure as Code (IaC) management via Terraform in close coordination with the French teams.
You will also act as the infrastructure focal point for this project. It will be your responsibility to coordinate the various stakeholder teams to ensure project success:
- Amundi Production Teams: Azure, Kubernetes, DBA, Network, and Security
- Amundi Development Teams: collaborate to deploy applications in Azure in India
- SBIFM Teams: SBIFM infrastructure and security teams - Software Vendor: Indian company providing a middle-office solution integrated with Alto
Objectifs et livrables
SCOPE OF WORK
The main responsibilities are:
• Active participation in the deployment of Alto solutions on the Amundi Azure tenant (AKS, managed Azure services, etc.)
• Management and evolution of Terraform configurations in partnership with the Amundi Technology infrastructure teams in Paris
• Coordination of infrastructure topics with the various stakeholders
• Operational maintenance of applications and the platform
• Guidance and coaching of development teams on DevOps and cloud-native best practices.
Additional Responsibility: Coordination with different R&D teams and local teams to ensure a smooth deployment of the local platform. The mission also aims to coordinate with the different R&D business lines to make sure that the platform is well deployed and well tested and will have to raise all issues to the global project director.
FUNCTIONAL ENVIRONMENT
The engagement will take place within the Amundi infrastructure team, responsible for:
• Kubernetes platforms on Azure (AKS) • Infrastructure as Code management (Terraform) on the Amundi Group Azure tenant
• DevOps tooling (Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines)
• Middleware management • Infrastructure projects aimed at modernising and securing Amundi's information systems
• Monitoring and observability tooling
TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT
• Runtime / Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), ArgoCD
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform (Azure Infrastructure as Code management)
• Cloud: Microsoft Azure (AKS, PostgreSQL, Azure Monitor, Azure Key Vault, Azure Networking, Azure Storage, Azure Container Registry…)
• Languages: YAML, HCL (Terraform), Bash/Shell
• CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD • Monitoring: Grafana, Prometheus, Azure Monitor
• Versioning: GitLab – Azure DevOps, Artifactory, Azure Container Registry
• Operating Systems: Linux (server distributions)
• Network & Security: Azure security concepts (RBAC, Azure Policy, Key Vault, NSG), network management (VNet, peering, DNS)
EXPECTED OUTCOMES / DELIVERABLES
• Deployment and maintenance of Alto solutions in the Amundi Azure environment
• Terraform codebase maintained, documented, and aligned with Amundi Technology standards
• Coordination meeting minutes with the various teams (local, Indian vendor, Paris)
• Support to development teams on applications deployed in Kubernetes
REQUIREMENTS / MANDATORY SKILLS
• Containerisation (Docker) & orchestration (Kubernetes / AKS): Proficient to Expert
• Cloud Azure (infrastructure services, networking, security): Proficient to Expert
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform): Proficient to Expert
• CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI): Proficient • Unix/Linux Systems: Proficient
• Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, VNet): Proficient
• Cloud Security (RBAC, IAM, secrets management): Knowledgeable
• Soft Skills: Experience in multi-team / cross-cultural coordination
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
8+ years of relevant experience in the aforementioned skills and technologies.
ENGAGEMENT TIMELINE
Start date: as soon as possible
LOCATION AND SITE ACCESS
The engagement shall be carried out on the premises of the client (Amundi Technology India), which undertakes to provide the service provider with the technical resources necessary to perform the engagement. Regular remote interactions with the Amundi Technology teams in Paris and the Indian software vendor teams are expected (video conferencing; time zone differences should be factored in). The service provider may only attend the client's premises from Monday to Friday during standard business hours. Location is in BKC, Mumbai. Working from home would be possible with 2 days max and only for organization purpose to cover Paris time zone of necessary.
